At approximately 1:30 am, a technician successfully pinpointed the source of the signal to a residence situated in the coastal town. The subsequent day, investigators, accompanied by law enforcement personnel, approached the man's door and politely requested entry. Without hesitation, the individual promptly confessed to operating a multi-band jammer.

According to the ANFR, the father of the family had implemented a jamming wifi to prevent his teenagers from using their smartphones to browse the internet instead of going to bed. The primary reason behind this action was the children's addiction to social networks and other applications. After researching on internet forums, the father determined that a jammer would be the most suitable measure to put an end to his kids' excessive screen time

The agency further stated that, in addition to instructing the owner to turn off the jammer and cease its usage, the ANFR agent reminded them about the regulatory framework governing such equipment.
